During the working process of pneumatic gantry punch, there may be various reasons that can cause continuous punching, which not only affects the machining accuracy of the punch, but also poses a safety hazard to the operator. Therefore, when using the punch, it is necessary to try to avoid the occurrence of continuous punching. So, what is the reason for continuous punching in pneumatic punch?

1、 Mechanical part:

1. The clutch is stuck, and due to uneven wear of the friction plates, the brake is not sensitive, resulting in continuous impact;

2. The gas valve is blocked. If a dual valve is used, it generally does not cause two valve cores to be blocked at the same time, while a single valve may cause valve cores to be blocked and cause continuous flushing.

2、 Circuit part:

1. Sticking the relay contacts of the control valve can accidentally cause the valve to power on and cause continuous impact;

2. The control system itself malfunctions, the program reading and writing of the control system is malfunctioning, external signal sources interfere, and program logic writing issues can also cause the valve to unexpectedly power on and cause continuous flushing.

Overall, there are two possibilities for continuous punching of pneumatic presses. One is that the clutch of the press is slipping, and wet clutches are more common. Another type is electrical or PLC program failure. It can be solved by replacing accessories or modifying programs, or by adding protective devices.
